O R D E R

The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register First Information Report based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 07.10.2015 with the 2nd respondent police vide C.S.R.No.216 of 2015 within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. The case of the petitioner is that on 20.09.2015, the petitioner is a resident of "Yesu Sabai." The petitioner has

established "Yesu Sabai" and created a trust two years back. Near by the said "Yesu Sabai", there is no residence. Every Sundays, they used to conduct prayer meetings without causing any disturbance to the local public. On 20.09.2015, while they were performing prayer, one Sulli Maniyan, son of Ramasamy, Palani Nathan, son of Sivasubramanian, Karthy @ Karthikeyan, son of Kannan, came to the prayer meeting at about 12.00 p.m and shouted at the petitioner. They were threatening them to do away, if further prayer meeting was conducted. Similarly, on 27.09.2015, at about 12.30 hours, one Subramaniam and his gangsters entered the prayer hall and attacked the petitioner her husband and took away prayer books. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint. Though CSR number has been assigned to the complaint, till date, no action has been taken. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the present petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court is of the opinion that it is appropriate to direct the second respondent to conduct an enquiry on the complaint dated 07.10.2015 given by the petitioner, if enquiry was not conducted so far, and proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.
