The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 02.07.2018 for restoration of agricultural electricity service connection of the petitioner.

Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, on instructions, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that vide communication dated 06.09.2018, the Assistant Engineer, TANGEDCO, Thimmanaickenpatty, has stated that the service connection related to the petitioner's land in Survey No.291/13C in Singilian Kombai, Madhroot, Rasipuram Taluk, Namakkal District, has not been disconnected by any of the officials of the TANGEDCO, till date.

3. The above submission of the learned Standing Counsel is hereby recorded. In view of the above, it is open to the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the representation made by the petitioner on 02.07.2018, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
