Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to pass appropriate orders for granting salary grant for the teachers of the petitioner school for the period from 01.06.1997 to 08.06.1998 by correctly appreciating the students' strength based on the records by considering the appeal petition submitted by the petitioner school to the respondent, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Today, when the matter is taken up, Mr.G.Sankaran, the learned counsel for the petitioner, had sought the permission of this Court to withdraw this Writ Petition, in view of the fact that the cause of action arose at Madurai, however, with liberty to file fresh Writ Petition before the Madurai Bench of Madras High Court. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

2. In view of the above submission and endorsement made, permission is granted to withdraw this Writ Petition and accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn, however, liberty to file fresh Writ Petition before the Madurai Bench of Madras High Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
