Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ or order or direction in the nature of writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to register a marriage registration of the petitioner and her husband as per Special Marriage Act 1954, according to law, the notice issued by the 2nd respondent vide Sl.No.2 of 2018 dated 23.02.2018, SRO Neelankarai. The petitioner has filed this writ petition to direct the 2nd respondent to register a marriage registration of herself and her husband as per Special Marriage Act 1954, according to law, the notice issued by the 2nd respondent vide Sl.No.2 of 2018 dated 23.02.2018, SRO Neelankarai.
2. Heard Mr.T.M.Papiah, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents.

The learned Special Government Pleader submitted that since the petitioner has not furnished all the details before the Bihar Sub-Registrar's Office within the time stipulated, the petitioner may be directed to furnish all the details before the Bihar Sub-Registrar's Office and thereafter the respondents may be directed to Register the Marriage registration of the petitioner and her husband as per Special Marriage Act 1954, according to law.

In view of the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, the petitioner is directed to furnish all the details before the Bihar Sub-Registrar's Office and thereafter the 2nd respondent is directed to take necessary follow up action after intimating the Bihar Sub Registrar's office and complete all the formalities as per law. Since there was no action taken by the respondents, time is extended by 30 days to conclude the proceedings as per statutory notice.
With the above observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
