ORDER
The petitioner/accused in Crime No.7 of 2024 has filed this petition seeking to complete the investigation and file a final report without further delay.

2.The contention of the petitioner is that the petitioner was posted as Tahsildar, Arani Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District and she has been implicated in this case based on the complaint of one Srinivasan. Due to registration of the above case, the petitioner's career and future has become questionable one. The petitioner has got good chance of success, which she can prove in the Court of trial. Hence, sought for earlier investigation of the case. 3.The learned Government Advocate submitted that the case was registered on 14.06.2024. It is a trap case. The decoy and accompanying witnesses and Trap Laying Officer confirmed about the demand, acceptance and recovery from the petitioner. Phenolphthalein test also confirms the petitioner receiving bribe amount. Now investigation completed, final report sent for obtaining sanction. Once Sanction under Section 19 of the Prevention of Corruption Act obtained, charge sheet can be filed. In any event, charge sheet would be filed within a period of four months. 2/4
4.Recording the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
