Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the name of the petitioner for any suitable appointment on compassionate grounds.

O R D E R

The petitioner is the legal representative of Thiru.Ganesan, who was a Forest Watcher. Thiru.Ganesan died in harness on 03.03.2006. The petitioner immediately filed application for compassionate appointment. The third respondent directed the petitioner to produce original documents on or before 12.03.2007 vide proceedings, dated 09.03.2007. It is the grievance of the petitioner that notwithstanding the production of original documents, the respondent has not taken any follow up action to give him compassionate appointment.

2. The second respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the application submitted by the petitioner for compassionate appointment on merits and in the light of his representation dated 10.03.2013. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
