Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the 1st respondent to produce the body of the detenue M.Sandhiya, aged about 17 years, daughter of Bharathi, now kidnapped and under the illegal custody of the 2nd respondent and hand over custody to the petitioner.

ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] Seeking a direction to the first respondent to produce the body of the detenue M.Sandhiya, aged about 17 years, daughter of Bharathi, now kidnapped and under the illegal custody of the 2nd respondent and hand over custody to the petitioner, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents 1 and 3 submitted that the detenue has been secured today (18.11.2020) and she is likely to be produced before the Child Welfare Committee, Villupuram.
3.Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the habeas corpus petition stands closed. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to work out the remedy in the manner known to law including approaching the Child Welfare Committee, Villupuram.
