Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to survey the land of the petitioner's land in S.No.268/1 to an extent of 134.50 hectares, situated at Koothur Village, Alathur Taluk, Perambalur District, with the aid of police based on the application of the petitioner dated 02.07.2021.

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 02.07.2021 wherein the petitioner has sought for survey of the subject property with police aid.

2. Heard Mr.M.R.Elavarasan, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents.

3. Taking into consideration the title deed relied upon the petitioner viz., the sale deed dated 15.06.2021 and also the joint patta that stands in the name of the petitioner in Patta No.2497, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to submit an online application before the first respondent by paying necessary charges. On receipt of the same, the first respondent shall act upon the application and conduct survey in the subject property based on the title document and joint patta that stands in the name of the petitioner. If there are any other interested parties, such survey shall be conducted in their presence. This process shall be completed within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of 2/4

online application submitted by the petitioner. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
