O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the 1st respondent not to harass the petitioner by orally summoning and compelling the petitioner frequently to appear before the 2nd respondent on the pretext of executing bond under Section 110 Cr.P.C., for statistics purpose, while the case in S.C.No.108 of 2011 on the file of the learned 2nd Additional Session Judge, Chennai, is pending examination of Investigation Officer.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the respondent police harassing the petitioner under the guise of enquiry even after the case was registered in Crime https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

No.710 of 2020 and the same was taken cognizance in S.C.No.108 of 2011 on the file of the learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai. Now the case stands posted for examination of Investigating Officer and hence he prayed to allow this petition. 3.Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents. 4.It is seen that once the regular FIR has been registered, the question of "Not to harass" will not arise. Furthermore, the respondent police conducted investigation in Crime No.710 of 2010 and filed final report before the 2nd Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai. Hence, this Criminal Original petition is liable to be dismissed.
