The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus to direct the respondent to revise the petitioner's wage with effect from 01.09.2016 based on the 13th wage revision settlement dated 04.01.2018 and to pay the difference in payment of terminal benefits namely gratuity and leave salary along with interest @ 6% per annum from the date of entitlement till the date of actual disbursement within a time frame fixed by this Court.

It is the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is entitled to revise the petitioner's wage in terms of the 13th wage settlement with effect from 01.09.2016 and to pay the difference in payment of terminal benefits such as gratuity and leave salary along with interest It is also the submission of the petitioner that in this regard, he had sent representation on 11.04.2025, and the same was not considered by the respondent.
3. At this juncture, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 2/5
respondent would fairly submit that they would consider the said representation of the petitioner within a reasonable time.
4. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the said fair submission made by the learned Standing Counsel, without going to the merits of this Writ Petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.04.2025, and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
