ORDER

By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the 3rd and 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.02.2025 to rectify the mistake in the online extract in the Permanent Land Register and issue patta in the petitioner name in respect of the petitioner's property in S.F. No.4457 based on the revenue document.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner's property in S.F.No.4457 is wrongly classified as Sarkar Porampoku Land, due to which the petitioner is facing difficulties in obtaining patta in her name. It is further submitted that the petitioner had submitted a representation on 07.02.2025 requesting the respondents to rectify the mistake in the online extract of the Permanent Land Register. However, the petitioner's representation was not considered by the respondent till date, thus the present writ petition has been 2/5

filed before this Court.

When this was pointed out, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that they would consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.02.2025 and pass appropriate orders within a time frame fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

5. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with the direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.02.2025 and pass appropriate orders within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after affording the petitioner a reasonable opportunity of hearing. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law.
