When the matter was taken up for hearing on 31.01.2018, there was no representation for the appellant and hence, the case was directed to be listed under the caption for dismissal on 01.02.2018. On 01.02.2018, directed the Registry to delete the name of Ms.S.Pavithra Praba, Legal Aid counsel for the appellant in the cause list and this Court was appointed as Mr.I.David Singh, Legal Aid Counsel for the appellant and also directed to serve a copy of the papers to the Legal Aid Counsel and hence, the matter was directed to be listed on 13.02.2018. Even today, (i.e. 13.02.2018), there is no representation on behalf of the appellant either in person or through the learned counsel on record. Therefore, the criminal appeal is dismissed for non prosecution.
