This petition has been filed to quash the FIR in crime No.396 of 2024 registered by the first respondent police for offences under Sections 296(b),

115(2), 308(4), 351(2) of BNS, 2023, Section 75 of The Juvenile Justice(Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 and Sections 9(a)(i), 10, 11(4), 12 of Protection of Child from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, as against the petitioner. 2.

The learned Government Advocate(crl.side) appearing for the first respondent police submitted that after completing the investigation in crime No.396 of 2024 on the file of the first respondent police, final report has been filed before the learned Special Court for POCSO Act, Coimbatore on 08.02.2025 and the same is yet to be taken on file. 3.

In view of the above submission, this criminal original petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the learned Special Court for POCSO Act, Coimbatore is directed to take cognizance of the final report filed by the first respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
