Common Prayer: Writ Petitions are filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certioararified Mandamus calling for the records from the file of the second respondent in proceedings Nos.Na.Ka.No.1211/2015/F1 and Na.Ka.No.2270/2016/F1 dated 05.04.2019 respectively and quash the same and further direct the first respondent to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner in Form V and letter dated 24.01.2019 requesting the renewal License which was granted by the First Respondent in Proceedings Nos.Moo.Moo.C3/1097/2016 and Moo.Moo.C3/2921/2016 dated 27.02.2016 respectively.

COMMON ORDER These writ petitions are filed challenging the order of the second respondent, who is refused to renew the hoarding license after expiry of license on 31.03.2019.
2. The reason in the impugned orders is that the petitioners have not applied for renewal of license within the prescribed time period, wherein, the petitioners contention is that they have made an application to the first respondent for renewal of license, till date the applications for renewal was not considered by the first respondent.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader, who has taken notice for the respondents, has not filed any counter. However, the respondents have not filed any counter, it is represented on behalf of the respondents that in the light of the Hon'ble Division Bench order, the respondents have decided not to renew the hoarding license to the petitioners by considering their representations dated 24.01.2019 and 25.01.2019 respectively.
4. The first respondent should have informed the above decision taken by them to the petitioners, which they have failed to do so. Whereas, the second respondent's communication dated 05.04.2019, indicates that since the license is not renewed after the expiry of lease period, hoardings should be removed from the erected place. If the respondents have decided not to permit installation of hoardings, the proper procedure should have been to intimate the petitioners rejecting their applications dated 24.01.2019 and 25.01.2019 respectively, which the first respondent has not done so far.
5. Therefore, the first respondent is hereby directed to dispose of the representations given by the petitioners dated 24.01.2019 and 25.01.2019, within a period of 10 days from today. Till then, there shall be an order of status quo.
6. Accordingly, these writ petitions are disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
