Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order or direction in the nature of a writ directing respondents 1 to 3 to initiate action based upon the petitioners complaints dated 04.09.2017, 20.11.2017 and 20.12.2017.

The limited prayer sought for in the present petition is to consider the petitioner's complaints.

According to the learned counsel for the petitioners the land in Survey Nos.362/2A and 362/7 (Patta No.190), Brahmmapuram Thaangal Village, Katpadi Taluk, Vellore District absolutely belongs to them and since their enjoyment is being obstructed by the respondents 4 and 5, the representation has been given by the petitioner.

3. It is needless to point out whenever representations are received by the respondents, it is their bounden duty to consider the same and take a decision one way or other without keeping it pending indefinitely.

4. It is seen from the petitioner's representation that allegations have made as against the sixth respondent, who is the Inspector of Police, Katpadi Police Station,Vellore District. Under these circumstances, it would be appropriate to direct a Superior Officer to consider the petitioner's representation. Hence, the petitioners granted liberty to approach the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Katpadi, Vellore District, by way of representation, ventilating their grievances.

5. On receipt of such an application, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Katpadi, Vellore District, shall conduct necessary enquiry into the complaints, after giving due opportunity to the fourth respondent herein and pass appropriate orders on its own merits in accordance with law. Such an exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above observations and directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
