O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 27.10.2015 in C.S.R.No.543 of 2015 and further to carry out the investigation according to law.

2. It is stated in the petition that the petitioner's daughter who went to Teacher Training Institute has not returned back to the petitioner's house till date. When the petitioner came to know that she is under the custody of one S.Arumugam, he lodged a complaint with the respondent police. Till date, no enquiry was conducted. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the daughter of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner has eloped with counter petitioner. The complaint lodged by the petitioner has been assigned C.S.R.No.543 of 2015 and the same was pending enquiry.

5. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, I direct the respondent to conduct enquiry in C.S.R.No.543 of 2015 and dispose of the same in accordance with law, as early as possible.

6. The criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
