ORDER
The present criminal original petition has been filed to withdraw the C.C.No.148/2014 on the file of Judicial Magistrate No.I, Udumalpet.
2. In the affidavit, it has been stated that the petitioner is an accused in the complaint lodged by the Defacto complainant for the alleged offence under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act. The petitioner is regularly appearing before the Court through his counsel. However, the learned Magistrate is insisting the petitioner to settle the matter and the referred the matter to the concerned Lok Adalat. Hence, the present petition is filed to transfer the complaint in C.C.No.148 of 2014 on the file of Judicial Magistrate No.I, Udumalpet and transfer the same to any competent Judicial Magistrate Court at Coimbatore District.
3. In my considered opinion, the ground raised in this petition do not serve as a ground for transferring the case on the file of Judicial Magistrate No.I, Udumalpet to the file of any competent court at Coimbatore District.
4. Hence, I am not inclined to entertain the petition and the same is dismissed. However, the Judicial Magistrate, Udumalpet is directed to expedite the trial and complete the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
same within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
