O R D E R
The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to register the FIR based on the petitioner's complaint dated 29.10.2015.
2. The petitioner herein has lodged a complaint as against one Indra, wife of Selvaraj. The allegation is that the said Indra has collected sum of Rs. 3 lakhs assuring that he would secure a job at Dalmia Cement. After collecting the amount, he has misappropriated the said amount. Thus, he cheated the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint. But till date, no action was taken. Therefore, the present petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.
4. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the amount was collected by the husband of said Indra, namely, Selvaraj. Since Selvaraj died, his wife Indra is no way connected with the alleged offence. Hence, the complaint was closed.
5. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition. Hence, this petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
6. The criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
