The petitioner/wife seeks transfer of HMOP.No.05 of 2025 from the file of the Sub-Court, Devakottai, to the file of the Family Court, Erode. 2.Despite service of notice in the above transfer petition, the respondent has neither chosen to appear in person nor through any counsel. Hence, the respondent is called and set ex-parte. 3.I have heard Mr.M.Guruprasad, learned counsel for the petitioner. 1/4

4.The petitioner being a resident of Erode, she seeks transfer of the proceedings initiated by the husband before the Sub-Court, Devakottai. I have gone through the affidavit filed in support of the transfer petition and I am satisfied with the reasons assigned therein, seeking transfer of the matrimonial proceedings from the file of the Sub-Court, Devakottai to the file of the Family Court, Erode.

5.In the light of the above, the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed and the case in HMOP.No.05 of 2025 is directed to be withdrawn from the file of the Sub-Court, Devakottai and transferred to the file of the Family Court, Erode. There shall be no order as to costs. Connected Civil Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
