payment of any stamp duty and without insisting on the period of limitation under Section 23 of the Registration Act, 1908.

This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned refusal check slip issued by the respondent dated 12.02.2024 and for a consequential direction to the respondent to register the award passed by the Sole Arbitrator.
2. Heard Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.
3. The refusal check slip has been issued by the respondent on the ground that the award has not been signed by the learned Arbitrator and does not carry the seal.

4. A copy of the award is available in the paper book. It is seen that it has been signed and it also carries the seal. There shall be a direction to the respondent to register the award on payment of necessary charges by the petitioner. In the result, this writ petition is allowed.
