O R D E R

The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 26.10.2015.

2.The petitioner lodged a complaint on 26.10.2015 before the respondent police against one K.Manoharan stating that the said Manoharan with his brothers attempted to trespass into the petitioner's property and they are doing cultivation. When the petitioner questioned the same, the above said person along with his brother abused the petitioner in filthy language and also threatened him with dire consequences. In this regard, on 26.10.2015 a complaint was lodged with the respondent-Police, which was received by the respondent-Police in C.S.R.No.256/2015. Since no action was taken by the respondenthttps://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Police, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition before this Court.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on receipt of the complaint, C.S.R.No.256 of 2015 has been assigned and the matter is pending enquiry.

5.In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the respondent to conduct enquiry on the complaint of the petitioner dated 26.10.2015 in C.S.R.No.256 of 2015 and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, the respondent is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.

6. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
