O R D E R

(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 147, 294(b), 324, 427 & 506(ii) of IPC, in Crime No. 2192 of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. The case of the prosecution as per the defacto complainant is that on 31.07.2020, due to the previous enimity, the petitioner along with other accused had assaulted the defacto complainant and his brother and his wife with sickle and wooden log and thereby, they have sustained injuries. Hence, the complaint. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that due to previous enimity, the petitioner and other accused had attacked on the defacto complainant and his brother and his wife. He would further submit that there are five previous cases pending against petitioner and that the investigation is pending. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.

Taking into consideration the facts and submissions made by the learned counsels and also considering the fact that there are five previous cases pending against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
