ORDER

The relief sought for in the writ petition is for a Mandamus to direct the Registrar of Cooperative Society (Housing) to conduct election for the Highways Employees Cooperative House Site Society.

2. Mr.K.Tamizhvendan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents states that the elections were conducted and the period of election also expired on the year 2023. It is not an intention of the Government to hold the election of the Society in the near future.
