O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to C.C.No.274 of 2005 on the file of the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Vandavasi, and quash the same.

2.The case relates to the year 2005. The main allegation is that the petitioners had threatened the de facto complainant and abused her with filthy language. This complaint had emanated from the dispute in which the second petitioner herein had borrowed a sum of Rs.13,750/- from the women's group to which the de facto complainant belongs.

3.When this matter came up before this Court on 04.01.2017, this Court dismissed the stay petition on the ground that the interim stay granted in the year 2011 was not extended subsequently.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed directing the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Vandavasi to dispose of the case in C.C.No.274 of 2005 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
