Respondent Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to regularise the service of the petitioner in the post of Junior Assistant retrospectively from the date of petitioner's initial appointment and to grant consequential service benefits viz. seniority and advancement notional promotion in the cadre of Assistant Section Officer and Section Officer with notional fixation of pay in the said promotional posts and advancement of selection grade both in the cadre of Junior Assistant as well as Assistant Section Officer without benefit of arrears of pay and allowances as per G.O. Ms. No.2024, Revenue Department dated 15.05.1974 and Government's Letter No.3096/Ma.Vaa 1(2)/89 Repatriates, Rehabilitation Department dated 11.08.1989 by disposing of the petitioner's representation dated 11.10.2011 within a stipulated period of time as prescribed by this Court.
