Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.08.2015 and thereby direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner as Cook in any of the District Adi Dravidar and Schedule Tribe Welfare Hostel, Perambalur District which comes under the control of 3rd respondent.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims that he belongs to Scheduled Caste community and he studied upto 8th standard and due to family financial circumstances, he could not pursue further studies and got his name registered in the District Employment Office at Perambalur. The petitioner in response to a paper publication applied for the post of Cook in the District Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Welfare Hostel at Perambalur District and was called for interview on 05.08.2015 and the result of the same has not been informed to the petitioner. Hence, in this regard, he submitted a representation dated 26.08.2015 to the third respondent, since he has not been favoured with any response, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4.

4. Though the petitioner prays for a larger relief, this Court without going into the merits of the representation of the petitioner, directs the third respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 26.08.2015, on merits and in accordance with law after putting on notice the persons concerned and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as the persons concerned. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
