ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation in the Crime Branch Crime No.157 of 2014 expeditiously, including by recovery of the balance amount from the accused and file a final report by the respondent police.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against one Souriappan and Charles for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 420, 419, 465, 467, 471, r/2 34 of I.P.C. Though the complaint was registered as early as on 19.03.2014, till date there is no progress in the investigation and final report has https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

not been filed. Hence, the present petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

4. Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the second respondent to expedite the investigation, complete the same and file final report as early as possible.

5. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
