PRAYER: Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the District Collector of Cuddalore, The District Superintendent of Police, Cuddalore District, The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Chidambaram Town & Taluk, Cuddalore District, The Inspector of Police, Law & Order, G1 Police Station, Annamalai Nagar & Post, Chidambaram Taluk, Cuddalore District, The Sub-Inspector of Police, (Law & Order) G-2 Police Station, Killai Village & Post, Chidambaram Taluk, Cuddalure District to issue permission along with protection to the petitioner herein to run atleast the last day function of Sri Vetrivel Murugan Sri Kaththavaraya Swamigal, 37th years Vaigasi Visaga Mahorsava Vizha as per the Schedule of the programme on the basis of the Petitioners representation dated 08.05.2019 by Register post.
