Prayer: Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, pleased to withdraw HMOP No.92 of 2020 from the file of the Sub Court, Thiruvarur and transfer the same to the file of the Principal Sub Court, Kumbakonam.

O R D E R

The wife seeks transfer of proceedings in HMOP No.92 of 2020 on the file of the Sub Court, Thiruvarur to the Principal Sub Court, Kumbakonam.

2. The transfer is sought for mainly on the ground of convenience of the wife who is a resident of Asoor near Kumbakonam. It is also stated that the wife is employed and she is working in City Union Bank, Kumbakonam. The husband is a resident of Chennai. He has chosen to launch proceedings in Thiruvarur as the marriage took place in Thiruvarur.

3. Considering the convenience of the wife, the proceedings before the Sub Court, Thiruvarur in HMOP No.92 of 2020 are withdrawn and transferred to the Principal Sub Court, Kumbakonam.

4. Mr.R.Sivakumar, learned counsel appearing for the husband would submit that the wife is a bank employee and likely to be https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

transferred from kumbakonam and if that is to happen, she should not seek for transfer of the case where she transfers. He would also pray that some time frame may be fixed for disposal of the HMOP.

5. Considering the request made by the learned counsel, the learned Principal Sub Judge, Kumbakonam is required to dispose of the HMOP No.92 of 2020, within period of six months from the date of receipt of papers form the Sub Court, Thiruvarur. No costs.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
