ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by C.V.Karthikeyan J.) This Sub Application has been filed to re-open the Contempt Petition No. 2039 of 2025, which was closed by this Court vide order dated 09.03.2026.

The contempt petition has been closed by an order dated 09.03.2026 recording that the respondent had issued notice for an enquiry to both the petitioner as well as the encroacher. 3.

It is submitted today that the enquiry had been conduced and both the encroachment and the encroacher had been identified. However, a portion of the encroached land falls within the Corporation limits. 4.

The respondent shall forward the relevant records to the Corporation. Both the respondent and the Corporation shall jointly take steps and proceed in accordance with the law to evict the encroachers. If a clearer demarcation of the encroachment is required, they may conduct a further inspection along with Corporation officials after giving due notice of such an enquiry to the petitioner. The records shall be forwarded and the joint inspection conducted with Corporation officials within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, this Sub Application stands closed with liberty to approach this Court if necessary.
