The petition is filed to modify the condition as the petitioner shall report before the Inspector of Police, H1, Washermenpet Police Station, daily at 10.30 a.m., instead of the petitioner shall report before the Inspector of Police, Polur Police Station, daily at 10.30 a.m., until further order in Crl.O.P.No.7258 of 2023.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been complying with the condition before the Inspector of Police, Polur Police Station. He would request that as the petitioner is a Senior Citizen, the condition may be modified for him to report before the Inspector of Police, H1, Washermenpet Police Station.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that the petitioner has been complying the condition regularly, imposed by this Court.

4. Accordingly, the condition is modified, the petitioner shall appear before the Inspector of Police, H1, Washermenpet Police Station everyday at 10.30 a.m., for a period of four (4) weeks and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation.

5. With the above observation, the miscellaneous petition is ordered as prayed for and the order dated 03.04.2023 is modified to the above extent.

6. The Registry is directed to de-link the above matter from Crl.O.P.No.10290 of 2023.
