This is a petition to condone the delay of 244 days in filing the writ appeal.

Heard Mr. S. Yashwanth, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the petitioners and Mr.M.Muthappan, learned counsel, who takes notice for the respondent.

Satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit accompanying this civil miscellaneous petition and also considering the 'no objection' expressed by the learned counsel for the respondent, the aforesaid delay is condoned and this civil miscellaneous petition is ordered accordingly.

The Registry is directed to number the writ appeal, if it is otherwise in order.
