O R D E R

The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, to direct the respondents to settle the amount towards the Encashment of Earned Leaves, Surrendered by the petitioners along with 12% interest p.a.

2. It is the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that there is a due from the respondents in respect of the petitioners' encashment of leave salary. It is further submitted that by virtue of the reply to their RTI query, the respondents have admitted the dues payable in favour of the petitioner.

3. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents would submit that they would make eligible payment in accordance with their record. 2/5

4. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

Though there is disputed facts between the parties, taking into consideration of the fact that the representations made by the petitioners are yet to be considered, this Court without going into merits of the matter, deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the representations dated 14.10.2024, 29.10.2024, 21.01.2025, 24.01.2025 and 08.03.2025 on it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
