PRAYER : This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the Hon'ble Metropolitan Magistrate (Fast Tack Court-III), Saidapet, Chennai to dispose of C.C.No.1987 of 2021 pending on its file within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the Metropolitan Magistrate (Fast Tack Court-III), Saidapet, Chennai to dispose of proceedings initiated under Section 138 of N.I.Act in C.C.No.1987 of 2021.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the entire materials available on record.

3. On perusal of the docket order, it appears that PW1 was examined in chief by the complainant in the year of 2021. Thereafter, cross examination has not been done, the case has been protracted without any valid reasons. Such view of the matter, there shall be a direction to the learned Metropolitan Magistrate (Fast Tack Court-III), Saidapet, Chennai to dispose of the main case in C.C.No.1987 of 2021 on merits within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
