Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Section 294(b), 324 and 506(ii) of IPC in Crime No.782 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused demanded money from the defacto complainant at knife point and abused him in filthy language. When the defacto complainant was refused to give money, the petitioner attacked him with knife and caused injuries.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he seeks anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate submitted that there are four previous cases pending against the petitioners and he is a history sheeter in HS.No.567 of 2020. Hence he opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Considering the fact that there are several previous cases pending against the petitioner and he is a habitual offender, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6.Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed. -sd/- 23/07/2021 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
