Prayer: This petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to modify the order of the Principal Sessions Court, Krishnagiri by its order in Crl.M.P.No.801 of 2020 dated 30.04.2020 in Cr.No.273 of 2020 and to direct the Judicial Magistrate No.I to accept the sureties.

ORDER

(This case has been heard through video conference) This petition has been filed to modify the order of the Principal Sessions Court, Krishnagiri by its order in Crl.M.P.No.801 of 2020 dated 30.04.2020 and to direct the Judicial Magistrate No.I to accept the sureties.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was granted Anticipatory Bail in Crl.M.P.No.801 of 2020 by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Krishnagiri on condition that the petitioner shall surrender before the Magistrate concerned on 01.06.2020 without fail.

3. He would further submit that when he approached the Court on 01.06.2020, 02.07.2020 and again on 01.08.2020 for executing the sureties, the Courts were closed due to Covid 19. Therefore, the petitioner was unable to surrender before the Magistrate concerned. Hence the earlier order had lapsed. Therefore, he filed a petition for modification.

4. In view of the above submission, since the Courts are reopened, the petitioner is directed to furnish the sureties before the learned Judicial Magistrate - I, Krishnagiri within two weeks from the date on which the copy of this order is made ready. The petitioner shall appear before the learned Judicial Magistrate - I, Krishnagiri on first working day of every Month until further 2/5

orders.
