ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to give police protection to enter lawful possession of the petitioner's property land comprised in S.Nos.82, 83, 84, 85 and 86/1 to the extent of 20.30 acres, situated Mavuthampathy Village, Madukkarai Taluk, Coimbatore District, based on the complaints of the petitioner dated 25.04.2023 and 29.04.2023.

On the strengthen of the interim injunction passed by this Court in W.P.No.9723 of 2023 filed by the petitioner, he lodged a complaint dated 09.10.2022 before the second respondent Police seeking police protection to the petitioner to enter the petitioner's property comprised in S.Nos.82, 83, 84, 85 and 86/1 to an extent of 20.30 acres, situated Mavuthampathy Village, Madukkarai Taluk, Coimbatore District. On the receipt of the same, the petitioner was issued with C.S.R.No.89 of 2023 from the second respondent and enquiry is pending.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) for the respondents 1 and 2 and perused the entire materials available on record.

Considering the above facts and circumstances, the second respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and the respondents 3 to 7 and to conduct an enquiry and pass appropriate orders on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, after giving opportunity to the parties concerned, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
