Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus forbearing the respondents from putting up a construction in S.No.241/19 cultivated at Banavaram Village, Nemili Taluk, Vellore District in view of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.34570/2018 dated 7.3.2019. ORDER

(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.M.Rajendiran, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 4; and, Mr.R.Radha Pandian, learned counsel for respondent No.5.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader submits that within two weeks the inspection would be conducted by the authority and if any

unauthorised construction is found in Survey No.241/19, action against the unauthorised construction would be undertaken in accordance with law.

3. In view of the said statement made by learned Special Government Pleader, the writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.14410 of 2019 is closed. (S.V.G., CJ.) (D.B.C., J.) 15.11.2023 Index :
