ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation and file the final report in Crime No.899 of 2021 dated 09.11.2021.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent has registered a case in Crime No.899 of 2021 on 09.11.2021, no final report is filed till date.

3. Mr.Leonard Arul Joseph Selvam, learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of two months.

4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondent.

5. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.
