The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the order of the first respondent in Na.Ka.20249/2023/ H2 dated 31.05.2024, and quash the same, and consequently direct the second respondent to restore our original Legal Heir Certificate. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's mother is the second wife of one Palanisamy and the said Palanisamy passed away on 06.10.2020 and after his demise, the second respondent issued legal heir certificate, declaring the petitioner's mother, brother and paternal grandmother and the petitioner as the legal heirs, however, the same was sought to be cancelled by the third respondent/ first wife of the said Palanisamy before the first respondent and the first respondent passed the impugned order cancelling the legal heir certificate issued to the petitioner. The learned counsel further submitted that this Court may without going into the merits of the case, grant liberty to the petitioner 2/4

to approach the competent civil Court in the manner known to law. 3.Considering the limited relief now sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, grants liberty to the petitioner to approach the competent civil Court as against the other alleged legal heirs and Tahsildar in the manner known to law. 4.The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
