Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to take appropriate action on the petitioner representation dated 19.05.2017 based upon the memorandum vide Vo.Mu.13291/17/H2 dated 29.08.2017 of the 1st respondent and direct the 2nd respondent to issue patta in his father's name for his agricultural land to the extent of 0.70 cents situated at Survey No.470/2 of Nagamangalam Village, Denkanikottai Taluk, Krishnagiri District.

Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioners seek for a mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner representation dated 19.05.2017, based on the memorandum dated 29.08.2017, wherein and whereby he sought for issuance of patta in his father's name in respect of the agricultural land situated at S.No.470/2, Nagamangalam Village, Denkanikottai Taluk, Krishnagiri District.

4. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court, is that the said request has not been considered so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the second respondent to consider and decide the same. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.05.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
