O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register a case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 19.11.2015.

2. The petitioner herein has lodged a complaint against one Sivakumar to the respondent police. Though the said complaint was lodged as early as on 19.11.2015, till date, no action has been taken on the said complaint. Hence, the present criminal original petition has been filed.

3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that already counter petitioner has lodged a complaint as against this petitioner and the same was assigned in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

C.S.R.No.592 of 2015. Now, the complaint lodged by the said Sivakumar as against the petitioner in C.S.R.No.592 of 2015 as well as the complaint lodged by the petitioner as against the said Sivakumar are pending for enquiry with the respondent police.

5. In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the respondent to conduct enquiry in both the complaint and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, he is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.

6. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
