ORDER

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of mandamus directing the first and second respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.05.2019, in which he had requested to dispose of the earlier representation dated 31.01.2019 and 18.03.2019. The representations were with respect to the renewal of the petitioner's society and to issue certificate of renewal to the petitioner's Society, namely, Balaji Nagar Govt. Employees Welfare and House Site Society.

2. The attention of this Court is drawn by Dr.G.Krishnamurthy, learned counsel for the writ petitioner that originally notice for Annual General Body Meeting was issued on 20.12.2018 stating that the meeting would be held on 20.01.2019. One of the agenda was election for the post of office bearers and committee members. On 20.01.2019, the sitting President and Secretary walked away from the meeting. This led to further confusion and one group of office bearers were elected and a rival group was also elected.

3. It is under these circumstances that the representation was given. The respondents are directed to consider the representation and pass appropriate orders. It would be in the interest of the parties if personal hearing is afforded to both the groups before final decision is taken. The entire exercise must be completed on or before 30.06.2019.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. Sd/- Vacation Officer //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar sli/dsa
