ORDER

Heard the learned counsels, appearing on behalf of the petitioner, as well as the second respondent. This writ petition has been filed, praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 21.8.2015, seeking consent for selling the property in question and for an One Time Settlement of dues liable to be paid by the petitioner, to the second respondent Bank.

At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the second respondent Bank had submitted that the representation made by the petitioner, dated 21.8.2015, had been rejected. However, the learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that the second respondent Bank had issued a communication to her, dated 28.6.2016, requesting the petitioner to approach the second respondent Bank, on 30.6.2016, for having a discussion, on the closure of the loan accounts (SDL A/C Nos.12,31,85 and 87), under the One Time Settlement scheme of the Bank. He had further submitted that the petitioner had approached the second respondent Bank, on 30.6.2016, pursuant to the communication issued by the second respondent Bank, dated 28.6.2016. The petitioner had also submitted a proposal for the one time settlement of the dues said to be payable by the petitioner.

In response, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the second respondent Bank had submitted that the proposal, if any, submitted by the petitioner, would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed thereon.

In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels, appearing on behalf of the parties concerned, this Court is of the considered view that no further orders are necessary in the present writ petition. Hence, the writ petition stands closed. No costs.
