ORDER
By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. In view of the order that this Court proposes to pass and also the limited relief that is sought to be granted, notice to the 6th Respondent is dispensed with.
2. The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the 3rd respondent to consider and dispose of petitioner's representation dated 18.6.2024 requesting survey and to issue patta and chitta to petitioner's agricultural land comprised in Nayakkanahalli survey No.499/7C2, Solaikottai village and post, Dharmapuri taluk and District measuring an extent of 1 acre, as per the revenue records.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for petitioner that petitioner filed a representation on 18.06.2024 to the respondents seeking survey of petitioner's agricultural land and to issue patta and chitta for the same. It is further submitted that the petitioner has paid necessary fees, however, respondents have not surveyed the petitioner's land till date. Aggrieved by the same, petitioner has 2/4
come before this Court.

At the outset, it was submitted by Mr.A.Selvendran, the learned Special Government Pleader for respondents that the request of petitioner to survey and issue patta and chitta to the petitioner's agricultural land would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed by 3rd respondent within the time frame to be fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner.
5. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the appropriate respondent to carry out a survey and submit a report within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after giving prior notice to petitioner, 6th respondent, adjacent land owners and other interested parties including rival claimants, if any. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law. No costs.
