ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 3rd Respondent to conduct enquiry on the recognition of the first respondent / Partnership firm i.e.,COLONEL GANESAN ASSOCIATES based on the 2nd
petitioner's termination notice dated 19.03.2025, received by the respondents herein, the press release issued by the third respondent dated 05.04.2025 and the 2nd Petitioner's compliant to the 3rd Respondent dated 09.04.2025, to safeguard the dignity of the Armed Forces and uphold the integrity of the legal profession.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsels appearing for the respondents.
3. The main prayer in the Writ Petition seeking for cancellation of the recognition of the first respondent partnership firm namely Colonel Ganesan Associates has become infructuous since the Registrar Judicial of Madras, High Court had cancelled the said partnership firm through its proceedings dated 07.04.2025.
4. Insofar as the consequential prayer seeking for a direction to the Bar Council Of Tamilnadu And Puducherry, Mr.C.K.Chandrasekar, learned Standing Counsel for the third respondent would submit that the complaint (No.243 of 2025) has been taken on file and is likely to place
the complaint before the General Council.
5. In the light of the submission made, the third respondent herein shall consider the petitioner's complaint dated 09.04.2025 in accordance with the procedures contemplated with the Advocates Act, 1961 and conclude the proceedings by following the principles of natural justice, after extending due opportunity to the second respondent herein, as expeditiously as possible.
