By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the first respondent had earlier recruited Technical and Non-Technical posts in pursuance to the list of candidates sponsored by the Employment Exchange.

This Court vide judgment dated 27.08.2014 in W.P.No.20290 of 2014 and W.P.No.34189 of 2014 dated 19.12.2014 has issued a direction to the respondent Corporation for mode of appointment. Whileso, the second respondent had issued a notification for appointment of drivers and conductors and other technical persons.

3. The petitioner would state that they were called for interview by calling letter dated 29.11.2014 for the interview https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to be held on 13.12.2014. The petitioner attended the interview and he was informed that he will get an appointment order. Subsequently, there is no response from the second respondent and therefore, the petitioner sent a representation to the respondents on 07.01.2016. Since no order has been passed by the respondents, the petitioner has come up with the present writ petition.

4. This Court heard the submissions of Mr.R.Baskar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.M.E.Raniselvam, Addl.Govt.Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent and Mr.P.Kannankumar, learned Counsel for the second respondent.

5. This Court, considering the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition and without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.01.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law and taking into consideration of the Government Order cited supra, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
