O R D E R

The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent herein to register the petitioner's complaint dated 27.09.2015 and to investigate the same in accordance with law.

According to the petitioner, he is a Civil Engineer, doing the business of construction of buildings in the name of BAFNA Constructions. On 19.04.2015, he entered into an agreement with one Mr.Henry Franklin for construction of dwelling houses at No.1/428, Vembuli Amman Koil Street, Kottivakkam, Chennai-41. Thereafter, the said Henry Franklin started to give trouble to the petitioner everyday and on 27.09.2015, there was a quarrel between them and the said Henry Franklin abused the petitioner's workers in a filthy language. In this regard, the petitioner gave a written complaint to the respondent police on 27.09.2015 against the said Henry Franklin. Since no action is taken by the respondent police on his complaint, having no other alternative, the petitioner has come https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

up with the present Criminal Original Petition seeking a direction to the respondent police to register his complaint. 3.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that the contents of the complaint do not constitute any cognizable offence.

I have carefully gone through the contents of the petitioner's complaint. I find that the allegations made in the complaint do not warrant this Court to give any direction to the respondent police to act on the complaint. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
