ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.1 of 2021, pending on the file of the 1st respondent Police, for offence under Sections 406, 471, 420 of IPC and Section 5 of the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interest of Depositors (In Financial Establishment) Act, 1997. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police.

3.On perusal of the FIR in Crime No.1 of 2021 dated 09.03.2021, this Court is of the view that prima facie allegation is made out. Therefore, the contention raised by the learned counsel for the petitioner is only in factual aspects. The same requires appreciation of evidence and it cannot done at this stage.

4.In view of the above, this Court does not find any merits in this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
