ORDER

Transfer Petition filed praying to withdraw O.P. No. 321 of 2025 from the file of the learned Family Court, Chengalpattu, and transfer the same to the file of the learned Family Court, Kancheepuram.

2. Notice served on the respondent and name printed in the cause list. The petitioner is residing at Kancheepuram along with her aged parents and two minor children. The petitioner/wife seeks transfer of the case from the Family Court, Chengalpattu, to the Family Court, Kancheepuram.

3. The petitioner is living with two minor children and facing difficulty in attending the Court proceedings. So far, no maintenance has been given and also been paid by him. The reasons stated are justifiable. Hence, the case in O.P.No.321 of 2025 from the file of the learned Court of Family Judge at Chengalpattu is transferred to the Sub Court, Kancheepuram, within a period of two weeks. The Sub-Court, Kancheepuram is directed to take the case on file within a period of two weeks. The Family Court, Chengalpattu, is directed to transfer the case to the Sub Court, Kancheepuram, within a period of two weeks. Thereafter, within a period of two weeks, the Trial Judge is directed to issue notice to both the parties. In the meanwhile, since the petitioner is living with two little children, the respondent/husband is also directed to pay Rs.10,000/- towards interim maintenance until modified by the Court of law, without any deviation, failing which he is not entitled to proceed with the matter, and he is directed to pay the maintenance from this month, i.e., July 2026.

4. With the above directions, this Transfer Petition is disposed of. No costs.
